If you are one of the lucky people whose idea is accepted, you will be sent a copy of the book tentatively titled Patently Ridiculous and a certificate designating you as a contributor of a ridiculous (although possibly brilliant) idea.

Submission requirements:
Send a one-page or less description of your idea. If you want to send
an illustration, send a scan as a tiff, gif, or jpeg image. This is not necessary,
but welcomed. If your idea is accepted, our mechanical engineers will
translate your idea into a visual image. Include your name, mailing
address, telephone number, age, and title of your idea.

By submitting your idea to us, you are NOT applying for nor will you be granted a patent. This site and books are NOT associated with the United States Patent Office. By sending your idea (and any illustration) and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are granting to Patently Publications, Inc., its publisher and their assignees permission to use your idea and any illustration for publication, in any manifestations associated with or to promote the book tentatively titled Patently Ridiculous in all media in perpetuity. You warrant your submission is original and does not infringe the rights of any person or entity.
